This Atlas shrugged off managing the massive databases supporting corporate America to drink from the babbling brook of startup life. He organizes meetups at a rate that's extremely unusual for coders. But that's not to say he doesn't love php, python, and analytics.

Amit has a wealth of startup experience in his short time on the market, taking a search marketing consulting firm form zero to $250k in sales in 4 months. Lately, he's focused on lifestyle hacking and summer weddings.

- Jeremy Bloom has been living green since before it was cool. And writing about it. His publication credits range from Playboy to Parenting, and he recently composed content for an exhibit on climate change at the new California Academy of Sciences museum in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. He’s been a senior editor for a monthly magazine, and written three screenplays (not, as of yet, produced). He likes to take a hands-on approach to life, so he also has mucked about in cobb, planted organic strawberry beds, created raw-food meals, done green carpentry, milked sheep, served as deputy campaign manager for a congressional race, helped run music festivals, dug into archeological sites in Israel and the arctic, white-water rafted down rivers in Thailand and the Adirondacks, gone skin-diving in the Red Sea, and danced until dawn in an old-growth redwood forest. He lives in Eugene, Oregon with his wife Lyra and two cats, Navi and Sylvanus.

Feelgood Style
- Becky Striepe lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and two cats. Atlanta has a long way to go environmentally, but she tries really hard to do what she can. She takes MARTA and rides her bike as much as possible in a city as sprawled as this one and is working to reduce her impact one step at a time. She moved into her first house a couple of years ago. Talk about an adventure! Home ownership is a constant struggle between what you can afford and what you want to do. She's learned a lot already and is always looking for new things she can improve in the house and her habits. She also runs a crafty business: Glue & Glitter. Her mission is to use existing materials in products that helps folks reduce their impact without feeling deprived. It's a challenge sometimes to keep things low-impact, but she's learning as she goes.
